Mackverket is now looking for an Operations Manager who wants to take overall operational responsibility for the restaurant business and help develop the company further.
Your role
Mackverket is now strengthening its organization with an Operations Manager who will have overall responsibility for restaurant operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring stable operations, high quality, good profitability, and a consistent guest experience in line with the company's concept and values. You will lead and monitor operations across multiple units and act as a clear link between owners/management and day-to-day operations.
During the first 6–12 months, you will work closely with the COO with the goal of gradually assuming full operational management responsibility. The role is operational, and you will be in charge of day-to-day operations. Together with senior management, you will focus on developing day-to-day operations.
Your main responsibilities
· Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Mackverket’s restaurants, with a focus on efficiency, organization, quality, and a consistent guest experience.
· Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators such as sales, margins, staffing, waste, and guest satisfaction, and translating these analyses into concrete improvement measures.
· Personnel and leadership responsibilities for unit managers and team leads, including coaching, follow-up, and the development of leadership skills and work methods.
· Ensuring effective scheduling, staffing, and orientation, as well as actively promoting the organization’s culture and values.
· Responsibility for compliance with food safety, self-inspection, and workplace safety requirements.
· Implementation , development, and monitoring of common procedures and standardized work practices across units.
· Participation in budget planning and monitoring of personnel costs, raw material costs, and profitability at the unit level.
· Help develop and follow up on the business plan approved by the board.
· Participate in the launch of new restaurants or concepts and serve as a sounding board for management on issues related to operations, the menu, and business development.
Your profile
We are looking for a confident and hands-on leader with experience in a leadership role within the restaurant, café, and/or fast-casual industry. Ideally, you have been responsible for multiple locations and are accustomed to managing other managers or team leaders.
You work in a structured and business-driven manner, with a good understanding of finance and key figures, and thrive in a role where you balance guest experience, employee well-being, and profitability. As a person, you are clear and communicative, with the ability to set requirements and give feedback with warmth and respect. You are decisive, pedagogical, and accustomed to translating direction and goals into practical implementation in everyday life.

Qualifications
· Several years of experience in operational leadership in the restaurant industry or a related field, as well as documented experience leading large teams.
· Proficiency with systems, including experience with cash register/POS systems, scheduling, and basic financial tracking.
· Excellent ability to express oneself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
· Class B driver's license .
Experience in multi-unit operations, catering, events, or food truck operations, as well as working in family-owned or fast-growing companies, is a plus.

This is a permanent position based in Stockholm. The work schedule is primarily on weekdays, but evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
