Huhtamaki Nordics is part of the Huhtamaki’s Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania business segment. We produce paper disposable tableware, such as cups and plates, and supply them to foodservice operators, fast food restaurants and coffee shops. In the Nordics, we have a manufacturing site in Hämeenlinna, Finland and sales offices in Estonia, Norway and Sweden. We are growing and are now searching for a driven Key Account Manager to our local office in Stockholm.
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for the management of B2B sales and relationships with an allocated customer base in Sweden. The role holder will create and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of key accounts and will generate sales through an understanding of customer demands. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maximising sales by acquiring new business and working closely with existing clients. You are offering your customers consultative sales and support. The Key Account Manager reports to the Sales Manager, Sweden and Denmark.
Your mission and responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager, you are working with sales activities as identifying, targeting, contact building, meetings, sales presentations, writing proposals, negotiation and closing of contracts. You are also going to implement and launch new products together with new and existing clients, so we expect that you have an eye for your customer’s needs. This means that you need to have a consultative sales approach with a drive to acquire and develop a complete knowledge of your customer’s processes, capabilities and needs.
One of your responsibilities is to maximise your sales results and contribution within your agreed budget which you have full responsibility for. You are producing detailed customer contact reports, estimates, quotations and ensure their forecasts. Our CRM system is Salesforce.
You will be involved and regularly liaise with design, planning, purchasing and production to enable you to set up plans for your customers. Further, you are going to create tailor-made solutions for customers to fulfil their specific needs.
On an ordinary day, you will handle both small and big customers as well as the whole sales process from the beginning to an end. This means the contact and planning with the customers, ensure agreed delivery dates through regular contacts with our customer service, supply and production teams. ‘’no day is another day alike”.

Who are you?
We see that you have as a minimum of 3+ years’ experience from sales, customer responsibility or foodservice packaging. To succeed in the position as a Key Account Manager you need to be genuinely interested in your work and believe in the products you are going to sell. You want to help your customers find better solutions and therefore the customers will see you as a trustful person. You are active, driven and have a positive attitude for your work. We see it as a merit with experience from the packaging business.
