Bankomat is in an exciting development phase of building a completely new business area - cash management. We are now looking for a site manager for Bankomat's cash handling unit in Borås. In the role, you will work as a locally responsible manager within your geographical area and report to the Head of Cash Management.

As a site manager, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape the site office's working procedures and structure, making this a unique and exciting opportunity for those who want to build a business from scratch. Once the business is built, you will be responsible for organizing and managing the work processes and ensuring a productive and pleasant working environment for our employees. You will be responsible for the delivery, the work environment and that the work is carried out according to established safety procedures.

Responsibilities/Duties

As site manager for the cash handling unit in Borås, you will have overall responsibility for the business.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure compliance with Bankomat's policies, objectives, guidelines and procedures.
  • Supervising employees.
  • Conduct goal-oriented appraisal interviews (development/salary interviews).
  • Budgetary responsibility.
  • Responsible for health and safety.
  • Be responsible for equipment.
  • Be responsible for sustainability work.
  • Work operationally in the business when needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has worked in a leading position towards set goals, with good experience of personnel responsibility and recruitment. It is a merit if you have a post-secondary education in process logistics or work experience of cash-in-transit and/or counting operations.

You are service-oriented with good experience in building and maintaining relationships. This, together with your ability to engage and communicate, creates good conditions for a productive and inclusive working environment. You lead by example by being unpretentious and willing to go the extra mile when needed, both for the business and your colleagues.

To further succeed in the role, you are thorough and have the ability to handle unexpected situations, with a solution-oriented and positive basic attitude. In addition, we expect you to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

We offer people the opportunity to withdraw and deposit cash via our well-known blue ATMs, which can be found in almost 600 locations in Sweden. For us, it is important that those who want to use cash have that opportunity. We have a comprehensive infrastructure of ATMs and deposit machines throughout the country. In 250 of our ATMs, we also offer the most common currencies: euros, pounds sterling and US dollars.

Bankomat has begun work on starting its own cash handling service.
