Do you want to lead one of Sweden's most important industry organizations in the energy transition? Green Power Sweden is now looking for a visionary and strategic CEO who can take the organization into the next phase with power, credibility and commitment.

About Green Power Sweden

Green Power Sweden is the industry organization for renewable energy in Sweden. We represent large-scale wind power, solar power and energy storage - and bring together actors and suppliers in a common mission: to contribute to a sustainable and competitive Sweden.

The organization was formed in 2025 through the merger of Swedish Wind Energy and the Network for Solar Parks, and is today a central voice in the energy and climate debate. We work to raise awareness, influence policy and push for a modern energy system that meets society's rapidly growing need for renewable electricity.

Our annual highlight is the Green Power Sweden Summit, a meeting place for politicians, industry colleagues and decision-makers where we raise the big issues for the energy system of the future.

The role of the CEO

As CEO of Green Power Sweden, you will have the overall responsibility for leading the organization's work with policy makers, members and the public. Your mission will be to implement our strategy and ensure that the organization continues to be a credible, proactive and unifying voice for the industry.

  • Representing the industry in the media.
  • Manage and develop the organization's staff and consultants.
  • Responsible for the budget and reporting to the Board.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who combines strategic acuity with operational drive and who is passionate about social issues, climate and energy transition. As a leader, you are visionary and have the ability to see the big picture, while being results-oriented and able to translate ideas into concrete results.

You inspire confidence and build strong relationships with decision-makers and staff alike, and you are confident in leading in complex and changing environments. Your communication skills enable you to represent the sector in both political and media contexts in an engaging and credible way.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in relevant field (e.g. energy, environment, economics, law) or equivalent experience.
