We are currently seeking an Operations Manager in Örebro with strong leadership skills who is willing to take overall responsibility for our depot and become a key player in our continued growth.
About the roles
As Operations Manager at , you will have overall responsibility for our depot and its operations in Örebro. You will manage day-to-day operations, optimize bus and staff scheduling, and ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently, always with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
This role involves both operational and strategic responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on leadership. You will lead the staff toward shared goals and develop procedures and processes that strengthen the entire business unit. You will be responsible for personnel management across the entire operation and will work closely with coordinators and traffic controllers.
You will report to the Operations Manager.
Your responsibilities include
- Operations management: Ensuring efficient and well-planned daily operations at the depots.
- HR Responsibilities: Recruit, onboard, and develop employees to build a committed, healthy, and high-performing team.
- Finance: Budget and performance accountability for the depot’s costs and revenues.
- Quality and safety: Follow up and develop procedures for the highest possible operational reliability and delivery quality.
- Relationships and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with clients and partners; you are a key representative of our company.
- Work environment: Actively work to create a safe, secure, and inclusive workplace.
- Governance & Monitoring: Ensure clear and consistent management of compliance with laws, policies, and procedures, and promote transparency regarding key performance indicators, results, and organizational development.
Your performance is measured by factors such as customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and employee development. You are the one who ensures that we deliver results both in the short and long term.
Your profile:
· Several years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the bus industry. Otherwise, in labor-intensive fields such as logistics, production, or similar areas.
· Proven leadership experience with a confident and modern leadership style
· Proficient in digital tools and systems for operations and planning
· Good financial understanding and ability to drive business toward set goals – analyzing key figures is your thing
· Knowledge of road traffic laws, working hours legislation for professional drivers, safety standards, and industry practices is an advantage
As a person, you are a natural leader with the ability to take a holistic view of personnel and operational activities. You are analytical, decisive, and organized, yet also flexible and solution-oriented in your day-to-day work. You have strong communication skills, build trust, and motivate others through clarity, commitment, and hands-on leadership. You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
You also have a B driver's license; a D driver's license is an advantage.
